What this charge covers
This line is the freight cost of moving your fabric from Istanbul to your delivery address. It is calculated from the actual weight of your finished order, the destination country and the carrier used, and it is invoiced before dispatch.

DAP — Delivered at Place This is our standard term. |
You pay us for freight only. Import VAT, any customs duty and the carrier's clearance fee are billed to you directly by the carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) when the goods reach your country. These are not included in what you pay us. |

DDP — Delivered Duty Paid Available on request, agreed before production. |
You pay us for freight plus customs charges, and we settle them. You receive no separate bill from the carrier. |

Two things that surprise people, so we would rather say them here
Import VAT is calculated on the goods plus the freight. That means you will see VAT charged on this shipping amount as well as on the fabric. This is normal customs practice in the EU, the UK and Norway, and it is not an error or a double charge.
If you are VAT-registered, order as a business. Give us your company name and VAT or organisation number and we will put them on the commercial invoice and on the carrier's waybill. Import VAT on a business import is normally reclaimable through your VAT return. A shipment cleared against a private name is not, and it becomes a real cost to you — even when the delivery address is your home.
Duty
We ship from Türkiye and issue EUR.1 / origin documentation where the destination qualifies. Under the free trade agreements between Türkiye and the EU, the UK and EFTA countries, this normally brings customs duty to zero on qualifying goods. Import VAT still applies.
