Meet a pack of happy little dachshunds trotting across a soft mauve backdrop, each one dressed for the season in polka-dot jumpers, floral coats and bright knits. Between them roll tennis balls and favourite toys, scattered with confetti-like dashes and dots that give the whole design a joyful, sprinkle-of-fun feeling. The idea came from watching how much personality a sausage dog packs into such a small frame — endlessly playful, a little cheeky, and always ready for a game of fetch. I wanted a pattern that captured that warmth and movement. This design suits children's clothing, pyjamas, leggings and dresses, as well as accessories, bags, blankets and pet-lover projects. Its dusty-rose palette keeps it gentle and versatile, working equally well for playful and cosy makes.
