Why acid printing on this fabric
Silk is a protein fibre, so it is printed with acid dyes — the only family that bonds properly to it. The result is deep, luminous colour that stays on the fibre through washing, while the drape and the characteristic silk lustre are left untouched.

Care
Hand wash cold with a pH-neutral detergent, or dry clean. Do not wring. Roll in a towel to remove water and dry flat away from direct sun. Iron on the reverse at the silk setting while slightly damp.

Will the print fade in the wash?
No. Acid dye bonds to the protein fibre; wash gently and the colour stays.
Can you print white?
