Jersey Print Factory — Marketplace Terms for Designers
Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to the Jersey Print Factory marketplace. This agreement explains how we work together when you upload your designs and sell them as printed fabric through our platform. We've kept it clear and plain — please read it before you publish your first design. By creating a designer account and publishing a design, you agree to these terms.

1. You keep your work

You own your designs. Always.

Uploading a design to Jersey Print Factory does not transfer your copyright or any ownership of your artwork to us. You remain the full owner of every pattern you create.

What you give us is a licence (permission) to print, produce, display, market, and sell your design on fabric through our platform — described in Section 2.

2. The licence you grant us

By publishing a design, you grant Jersey Print Factory a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to:

  • print your design onto fabric when a customer orders it;
  • display your design on our website, marketplace, and your designer profile page;
  • use images of your design in our marketing (website, social media, email, ads) to promote the marketplace and your work;
  • handle production, fulfilment, shipping, payment, and customer service for orders containing your design.

Non-exclusive means you are free to sell the same design anywhere else, on any other platform, at the same time. We do not lock you in.

This licence lasts only while your design is published on our platform. If you remove a design (Section 6), the licence for that design ends, except for orders already placed and copies already printed.

3. How you earn

For every metre/yard of your design sold, you earn a royalty of 20% of the variant price (the price the customer pays for the fabric, excluding shipping, taxes, and duties).

  • Royalties are calculated on completed, paid orders.
  • Payouts are made monthly, via bank transfer or Wise, for balances above the minimum payout threshold communicated to you in your designer dashboard.
  • You are responsible for any taxes due on your earnings in your own country. We do not withhold income tax on your behalf.
  • We may adjust royalty rates or payout terms with reasonable advance notice; changes apply only to future sales, never retroactively.

4. Your promises to us

When you publish a design, you confirm that:

  • the design is your own original work, or you hold all rights necessary to license it to us;
  • the design does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, design right, or other intellectual property;
  • the design does not contain another brand's logo, a celebrity's likeness, or any third-party content you don't have the right to use;
  • you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

If a design turns out to infringe someone's rights, you are responsible for it — see Section 7.

5. What you may not upload

To keep the marketplace safe and lawful, you may not publish designs that:

  • infringe copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property;
  • depict hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence;
  • contain sexually explicit material involving minors, or any unlawful content;
  • are defamatory, harassing, or invade someone's privacy;
  • impersonate another designer or brand.

We may remove any design that breaches these rules, and may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do so.

6. Removing your designs

You can unpublish or delete any of your designs at any time from your designer dashboard.

  • When you remove a design, it stops being available for new orders.
  • We will stop printing and selling it.
  • Orders already placed before removal, and copies already printed, are not affected — they will be fulfilled, and you'll be paid the royalties due on them.

You may also close your designer account entirely. We will remove your public profile and designs; we may retain records of past transactions as required for accounting and legal purposes.

7. Responsibility for infringement

Because you create and own the designs, you are responsible for making sure they are lawful and don't infringe anyone's rights.

If a third party claims that one of your designs infringes their rights, you agree to cover any reasonable costs, damages, or losses Jersey Print Factory incurs as a direct result of that design — provided we notify you promptly and let you take part in handling the claim. We may remove the disputed design while the matter is resolved.

This does not apply to issues caused by our own production errors or our own marketing materials.

8. Our responsibilities

We will:

  • print your designs to a professional standard on the fabrics you select;
  • handle production, shipping, payment, and customer service;
  • give you a designer profile page and show your name on your products;
  • pay your royalties accurately and on time;
  • not use your designs for anything beyond the licence in Section 2.

We provide the platform "as is" and do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or a specific level of sales.

9. Limits of liability

Jersey Print Factory's total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the royalties payable to you over the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost opportunities). Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Ending this agreement

  • You can end this agreement at any time by removing your designs and closing your account.
  • We can end it, or suspend your account, if you breach these terms — particularly the content rules (Section 5) or your promises (Section 4).
  • Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, responsibility for infringement, payment of royalties already earned) continue after the agreement ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update this agreement from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know through your dashboard or by email. Continuing to use the marketplace after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes never reduce royalties already earned.
