Cut and sew

We can make the garment, not just print the cloth

A customer asked whether we could sew as well as print. We can. Cutting and sewing run through partner workshops; we have the cloth printed, inspect every metre, and organise the run from file to boxed order.

Tell us what you want — a photo, a sketch, or a garment you already own — and we come back with a quote.

What we make

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell us, or show us

A photo, a sketch, a tech pack, or a garment you already own. Send your print file if you have one — we can also work from a pattern you supply.

  2. 2

    We quote

We come back with a price for the whole run: fabric, printing, cutting, sewing and packing.

  3. 3

    We sew a sample

Before the main run you get a production sample to approve. Changes happen at this stage, not after.

  4. 4

    The run starts

Once you approve the sample, production begins. Every metre is inspected before it is cut, and the finished garments are boxed and shipped.

What the quote covers

Fabric and printing

Your artwork on the base cloth you choose — 63 fabrics in stock; reactive on cotton, sublimation on polyester, acid on silk.

Cutting and sewing

Done at partner workshops we work with regularly. Pattern, cutting, sewing and finishing.

Checks and packing

Fabric inspected before cutting, garments checked before boxing, then shipped.

50 pieces minimum per style. Below that we can still print the fabric by the metre — see the fabric pages.

Not on this page? Ask anyway.

We are not limited to the garment types listed here, and we are not limited to the 63 fabrics we hold in stock. If you want a cloth we do not carry, we source it. If you want a make we have not listed, describe it.

Tell us the fabric, the print and the construction you have in mind. If it can be printed and sewn, we will tell you how and what it costs — and if it cannot, we will tell you that too.

Tell us what you need

The more you tell us, the closer the first quote will be. We usually reply within one working day.

Photos, sketches and tech packs: email them to orders@jerseyprintfactory.com with your name and we will match them to this enquiry.
